New to I, NECROMANCER? Check out the Archives, where you can get recaps of the story so far, bonus content, and catch up first two chapters in a free, easy-to-read PDF!

The elvish leaders arrive at Lu’Ghul Castle to meet Vanion’s mysterious and strangely gentle human servant, Raphael. I love how efficiently, effectively Mharz captures the essence of these new characters as they interact with each other and Raphael! Do you have a favorite so far? Let me know down in the comments section below! 🙂

I love the look that Fiona and Raphael share in that far right frame. What is that?! Does she know something?? Is he ashamed?? I’m intrigued!

Whoo! Questions/intrigue mean that we’re doing something right, I think. : ) And that’s all I’ll say about that.

You won’t have to wait long on Vanion! And I’m glad you’re digging the coloring. Snowdon’s doing some really amazing stuff there.

Oh, Fiona is def the fav so far. But I agree that all these characters get instant personalities with Mharz’ style. It’s really immediately striking and works so well. Lu’Ghul never looked so good!

Haha, thanks! We’ll get to see some more Lu’Ghul upcoming for sure. I’m also glad to hear that Fiona resonates with you! I’m always a fan of a good contrarian myself.
