Things are really heating up this week! We haven’t had a good throw-down battle scene yet this chapter, and I’d say now is a good time. We’ll get some action, some plot-twists, and some hard truths over the next few pages. I can’t wait to share them with you! And thank you for all of your support. 🙂

As for this page, the first two panels have some of my favorite lines that I’ve written for Vanion so far. He’s felt persecuted and misunderstood, ever since he made his deal with the devil. Is he being treated fairly by the elves? Or is he being blinded by his own narcissism? Or, maybe, is this precisely what he’d hoped would happen? He’s a fun character to write.

  1. Well, I know Vanion’s not exactly a White Knight but Calling him a traitor after showing up on his doorstep, for a peaceful meeting, only to turn around and say we’re gonna kick your butt and drag you out of here is kinda hypocritical.

    1. Vanion may just have some very valid concerns about the priorities and hypocrisies of the elvish elite. Of course, they may also have some very valid concerns about Vanion’s plan to start a race war by summoning a deadly plague. Maybe this meeting wasn’t the BEST idea.
