Also known as Fate’s Compass, this object takes on the appearance of a broken compass that never points North, with a mysterious history and unknown origin. The compass is typically acquired through theft or passed along in the belongings of someone who’s disappeared or passed away.

The compass has the ability to transport a single being or multiple people through time and space, or across planes. Wherever they are destined to be the compass will ensure they are there.

The compass activates when it needs to, be it a person meets a requirement to be taken to another point in time or an event occurs that requires their presence to fulfill their purpose. The compass does not guarantee a two way passage, but may bring it’s wielder back provided that is their fate.
